The swan neck pediment with eagle and spire finials and lion mask terminals above Corinthian columns flanking a painted oval dial with primary Roman chapters signed to the centre. W. C. Nicholas, Birmingham, the moon phase surmounted by portrait of Admiral Lord Nelson and his flagships, the lower spandrels with allegorical figures seated next to camels, the trefoil crest trunk door between full Corinthian columns, the apron on French splay feet, 260cm high.
